How to incorporate more color into your wardrobe
Hi Friends! Lifestyle Buzz collaborated with some amazing Instagram creators to bring to you a diverse set of ideas on how to incorporate more color into your wardrobe.
If you’re afraid of color or want some new ways to incorporate color into your closet, this post is for you.
Take Advantage of Neutral Colors
If you're trying to build an outfit around your new bold blouse, it helps to know your neutrals. Items that feature neutral colors (black, white, grey, and brown) will go with just about anything, providing a solid foundation for more colorful apparel.
T-Shirts Are Perfect for Adding a Pop of Color
Another easy way to expand your color palette is to lean on your roster of t-shirts. While more complex pieces may be hard to incorporate, a monochromatic tee is endlessly versatile and provides some extra color without going overboard.
Start with a Bold Color Shoe
Shoes are the perfect way to add in some color to your black heavy wardrobe. Adding in color to your shoes can go a long way. Red, yellow, blush, and burgundy shoes are my personal favorites for shoes that pair well with neutrals. Nothing says “a pop of color” like Red shoes!
Have Faith in the Accent Piece
If you're willing to go out on a limb, at least every once in a while, try adding an accent piece. Scarves, hats, vests, and socks are all likely contenders—just make sure you limit yourself to one accent color per outfit.
