Fall Knits…

Are you wondering what these are or if you have them in your closet? Well, you probably do. Fall knits are our precious chunky sweaters, sweater dresses or anything made of a woven material. Like everything, some knits are made better than others.

I am in my 40’s, so I tend to buy items that can carry me through different seasons and that are built to last. This wasn’t always the case. I guess as they say, you get finer with age and so does your taste in clothes. 😆

Let’s get to the good stuff…

Look for quality knits that can carry you through different seasons and that will last through the years. This may be a trial run, but once you find those brands, stick with them. Look for items that have weight to them, that are not itchy (because if they are, you are probably not going to wear it) and always look carefully at the stitching. If the stitching is coming apart when you buy it, it is an indication that the quality is no bueno.

I have found that Chicwish carries high quality items that are built to last. You can see all their beautiful knits and garments here. After, trial and error, I’ve found some stores on Amazon that offer high quality knits that are also built to last. You can check out the stores here.

Now to the Styling part…

So, how do you style a Fall knit? My response… However you feel comfortable styling them.

Knits are so versatile and can be layered, dressed up or down. One thing all knits have in common, is that they were built to provide comfort. Take this woven sweater dress for example, it is made of high quality material and is long sleeve. I added a faux fur leopard coat as my statement piece. I always tend to give my wardrobe just one loud accessory, and this time it was my coat. The dress is so breathable and so comfortable. Did I mention it is only for $39 and comes in multiple colors? It’s seriously one of those pieces that can be used over and over again and in different ways. So versatile!

If you are going to splurge on one item this Fall, make it on a Knitted item. Chunky sweaters are always so versatile and if you pick high quality ones, they will last through many seasons. You can check out my favorite Sweaters here.

Well friends- Happy Styling!! I hope you enjoyed this segment.

Until our next adventure
